PSL 2022 is just around the corner and fans are eagerly waiting to see their favourite players. What started as a minor initiative of Pakistan Cricket Board has grown to an internationally much-admired event. The upcoming edition PSL is already attracting the attention of cricket fans in Pakistan but also generating excitement globally. The six franchises of the PSL have picked their sides for this year tournament that promises to be one of the best edition so far.
First time in PSL history all the matches will be played in four cities of Pakistan. Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Multan are the venues of PSL 2022. Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans and Islamabad United will have the home ground advantage in PSL 2022. With less than a month remaining in PSL 2022, Pakistan Cricket Board has announced all the ticket details. Here we will give you all the details from PSL draft to schedule for PSL 2022.
PSL 2022 | Player Draft
All six franchises had announced the retained players list and with more international stars added in the draft pool of PSL 2022, fans can expect more from this year Pakistan Super League. The franchises were allowed to retain a maximum of 8 players and have to keep the squad to 18 members only.
All franchises were allowed to pick at least 3 players from the Platinum category, 3 players from Diamond category, 3 players from Gold category, 5 players from Silver, 2 players from the Emerging category and 2 players in the supplementary category. In 2022, PSL the franchises were allowed to use wild card option. Through the wild card, the franchises can select a player from a diamond category into a platinum category or from a gold category into diamond category vice versa. However, franchises were permitted to use this wild card option only one time in a draft.

In all previous editions of Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars failed to reach the play-offs stage of the tournament. Multan Sultans
In PSL 2018, Pakistan Cricket Board added one more team in the tournament, making it a six-team tournament. The team was bought by Schön Properties. Before the PSL 2019 draft, the Multan Sultan owners were failed to pay their annual fee of US$5.2 million to PCB which results in contract expiration. Ali Khan Tareen and Taimoor Malik won the rights of the team in 2018 but they were unable to participate in the draft of 2019 PSL. This year they have made some inclusions in the squad and with Andy Flower as a coach, Multan Sultans fans have high expectations.

PSL 2022 | Ticket details
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced all ticket prices and purchase details. You can buy tickets from www.yayvo.com and TCS express centres.
The sale of PSL 2022 tickets is starting from tonight and fans can buy tickets from www.yayvo.com. However, the general sale of tickets for PSL matches will start from January 28, 2022. PSL fans can purchase tickets from TCS Express Centers across 38 cities of the country. There is a dedicated round the clock TCS helpline available for people that will provide support to the customers throughout the ticketing process.
The price of tickets for the PSL grand opening ceremony and opening match in Karachi on February 20 has been priced between Rs 1,000 to Rs 6,000.
The price of a ticket for the final match of PSL in Lahore on March 22nd will be between Rs 500 to Rs 5,000.
The price of the ticket for the qualifier and two eliminators have been set between Rs. 500 to Rs. 4,000.
